Metric Socket Set Flat Point, Din 913, Steel self colour

These steel socket set screws with flat point are made out of class 45H/grade 14.9 steel manufactured to Din 913 with a metric coarse thread.  A hex key, sometimes referred to as an allen wrench or allen key, or a hex driver is required to tighten or loosen a socket screw.  A socket set screw is generally used to secure an object within or against another object.  A common  example of this would be to secure a pulley or gear to a shaft.  The flat point of the screw means that the screw can press perfectly flat against a surface.
