Plastite screws are primarily used for fastening in plastic and thermoplastic materials, especially where high strength and resistance to stripping or pull-out are required. They do not require a pre tapped hole and their trilobular design creates reusable threads in plastic, which is ideal for applications requiring frequent disassembly and reassembly.  They come in different styles including 45° and 60° thread profiles and various head and drive types.
